A big well done to all our children for enabling us to purchase 4 chickens and a goat for a family in Africa. In September, Joe a P4 pupil asked if we could organise a fund raiser to aid a family less fortunate that our own. The Eco/School Council Committee decided that we would use our 'Ditch the Dark Day' to raise funds to help us achieve this goal. On Friday 3/12/21 our Ditch the Dark Day was a great success and allowed us to purchase our gift from Trocaire.
We hope our Christmas Gift will bring great happiness to the families it will help. Happy Christmas from all the Children and Staff, St. Mary's PS, Maghery.
