The children began the lesson by reading Goldilock's and the 3 Bears, they were then challenged to build a chair for our class bear. They discussed all the parts needed for a chair and allocated each part to a different member of the group. They used their measuring skills to determine what size the chair needed to be. We were really impressed with the teamwork and the engineering skills present even at this young age.
