We have amazing poetry skills developing in the younger classes this term.
The children began by exploring 3 of Vincent Van Gogh's night time paintings.
in small groups they discussed the things, colours and shapes they could see, and they collated their ideas in a group chart.
Each child then used the group chart to create their own poem about one of the paintings.
With support the children then word processed each poem and changed the font to one that they preferred.
The work was completed with the beautiful paintings that were influenced by their own poems.
