The Primary 1 - 3 children spent the day at Birches Primary School with the Primary 2 class, today.
The children explored the outdoor area and built, mixed, dug, stacked and created with children from the Birches class.
The woodland creature they focussed on, this week, was butterflies and the children created spectacular colourful, symmetrical butterflies using paint and natural butterflies with leaves and sticks.
They had a great day and are looking forward to welcoming the Primary 2 children to St Mary's, next week.
