As a follow on from our visit to Greenisland Nurseries in November, the KS2 classes visited the local Tesco branch in Portadown on 6th December as part of the "Farm to Fork " programme. Our guide told us some very interesting facts about brussel sprouts ( we all know kids love brussel sprouts) , we decorated gingerbread men and held tight to a very slimy salmon! It was a fabulous trip and the children behaved so well, we were given treats for the way home.
