The Primary two children enjoyed their Shared Education experience this year. Their experience began with a visit from Birches PS for two days on week one and a visit to the Birches PS for two days during week two.
The experience consisted of 4 shared structured play sessions including Numicon and ICT.
This was followed each day with a music lesson using the Charanga programme.
The programme helped the children develop their musical ability, their confidence and their teamwork. All this combined helped the children to perform a set song on the final day accompanied by musical instruments and a musical ipad app.
We look forward to continuing to strengthen the friendships created next year.
