Primary 4 and 5 enjoyed a visit from Science Stars today. They came into the class to deliver a STEM session which required all our children to become engineers.
The challenge was to engineer a boat from different materials that would stay afloat and hold a number of coins. Well done to Joe, Hallie, Joshua and Christopher. During the first trial their boat held the largest number of coins and Ceallaigh, Paraic, Layla and Conan F for the largest number of coins held in the second trial.
All the children and Mrs Mackle would like to thank Science Stars for coming in and providing us with such an enjoying and interactive session.
