Primary 4&5 - a continuation of our Winter Art

For the next step of our Winter Art and topic "Weather Watchers" , we examined the backgrounds of some famous Winter paintings. We discovered that the 'sky' is indeed not always blue but can be a combination of colours. Primary 4&5 then began to use their knowledge to make a 'wash' of the various sky colours and used sponges and paintbrushes to complete the background, and which is to be the start of their Winter creations. Next step, we will apply our previously learnt knowledge on texture. Watch this space!
