P5/P6 Art Workshop 25.06.2025
Today, our P5 and P6 pupils had the wonderful opportunity to work with two talented artists from the ACB Council Community Arts Department. They were Mark Revels and Larry who recorded the video of today's workshop. The focus of the day was clay work, and the children were introduced to a range of techniques and tools used for clay.
The artists guided the pupils through the process of designing and crafting a beautiful framed clay piece, inspired by the theme:
“What We Enjoy About Lough Neagh.”
From birds and boats to fish, flowers, and family walks, the children expressed their favourite things about this special place through texture, shape, and creativity. The final artwork is a vibrant and heartfelt celebration of our local environment and the joy it brings to our community.
We are incredibly proud of the pupils’ enthusiasm, teamwork, and artistic flair. A huge thank you to the artists and ACB Council for bringing this inspiring experience to our school!
