As part of our topic 'In the Toybox' the children completed a planning lesson where they discussed the materials toys are made from, what they knew about toys, what toys were playied with in the past and what they wanted to find out about toys.
We followed this lesson with the children bringing in their favourite toy. They had a show and tell lesson describing their toys and followed this with a numeracy lesson where they sorted their toys using a Venn Diagram.
The children also had a fantastic lesson where they explored 'gravity and forces' using wheeled vehicles and ramps.
