On Tuesday 3/6/25 St Mary's PS, Maghery, were privileged to receive their 5th Green Flag, in Civic Centre, Craigavon. This is a tremendous achievement for all our children and staff. We are continually working hard to educate our children on ways to protect Their World. Within the school our children are always eager and willing to implement actions needed to ensure that our garden and outside Eco areas are promoting bio-diversity and they always love planting new flower varieties and trying new vegetables and herbs. Next year we hope to focus on Waste. The children are excited to measure the amount of waste - food / recyclable materials that we accumulate within the school. Well done to all the children who have worked so effortlessly to ensure that St Mary's PS continues to reach the standards required to maintain our Green Flag Status.
