In Primary 1 and 2, our little explorers had an exciting time discovering the properties of water! To kick things off, they used vibrant oil pastels to draw their very own underwater creatures, letting their imagination run wild. Once their fantastic drawings were complete, the real fun began! The children placed colourful tissue paper over their artwork and carefully painted it with water. As they watched closely, something magical occurred! When the tissue paper dried, the water had beautifully transferred the colours onto the drawings, creating stunning effects that amazed everyone. The joy and wonder on their faces was priceless as they shared their delightful creations with one another. What a wonderful way to engage our young learners in both art and science, inspiring a love for creativity and exploration!
