Exploring Rainclouds with P1-3

8th Jun 2023

The children in Primary 1-3 had a go at being scientists today and completing a water experiment.

They were given the task of finding out how it rains. The children were each given a glass of water, shaving gel and a pipette with coloured water.

The children began by predicting how many drops it would take to make it rain. Then then created their 'clouds' by using water and shaving gel. After this each child then counted and recorded how many drops it took before it 'rained' they recorded this either using ticks or a tally chart.

After the experiment the children then drew a picture to show their findings.
