The children have been very busy planting sunflowers for every child in our school. We are having a 'Tallest Sunflower Competition' and everyone has to look after their own sunflower. The child who grows the tallest sunflower will win a lovely box of sweet treats! In addition to our sunflowers, we have been planting out our herb garden, with Rosemary, Thyme and Sage as well as some Beans and Peas. We have also planted some beautiful hanging baskets, full of flowers. We got creative using our recycling skills making hanging planters out of plastic bottles for our strawberry plants which were kindly donated by Cora's Granda, Joe. Thank you Joe! Well done everyone. Looking forward to our summer in the garden.
