This week the children have been exploring the message of 'being connected'. This is the national message to raise awareness of children's mental health week.
The children began by discussing the term 'mental health' and how they can help themselves to feel better when they are feeling sad, lonely or worried.
They then read the story 'An Invisible String' and they discussed how we are connected to many different people and never on their own.
The children finished the week by designing a poster to show who they are connected to both inside and outside school.
Homework activates also reinforced this message.
