On Friday, 2nd May 2025, our Primary 7 pupils celebrated a significant milestone in their spiritual journey by receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to each child on this momentous occasion. Their dedication and hard work in preparing for this sacrament were evident, and they displayed an admirable reverence during the ceremony.
A special thank you is owed to Mrs Nugent and Mrs Donnelly, whose tireless efforts in preparing the children did not go unnoticed. The guidance and nurturing provided by our parents were equally invaluable, helping to present the children beautifully during the service. We also wish to express our gratitude to Fr Garrett for officiating the ceremony, bringing a sense of warmth and spirituality to the service.
The confirmation was a beautiful celebration, filled with song, prayer, and an atmosphere of peacefulness that will be cherished by all. To mark this achievement, the children were delighted to enjoy a small party upon their return to school, a token of our pride in their accomplishment. Thank to to Jean Fox for the beautiful cake and to Siobhan for the buns.
We commend each pupil for this significant step in their faith journey and look forward to witnessing their continued growth.
