A Magical Journey with Our Caterpillars
In March, Primary 1 and 2 were absolutely thrilled to welcome five little caterpillars into our classroom! The excitement in the air was evident as the children eagerly gathered around to observe our tiny friends grow big and strong. Each day, they closely watched as the caterpillars munched away on their food, noting every little change and development.
Just before the Easter break, a moment of magic unfolded! To the children's delight, they discovered that the caterpillars had surrounded themselves in cocoons, all snug and safe. The kids were on the edge of their seats, closely monitoring this incredible transformation. And last week, the wait paid off: our first butterfly emerged, its wings stretching wide and bright!
One by one, the rest of the butterflies followed suit, and the children couldn’t contain their excitement. When it came time to release them into our Eco garden, the atmosphere was electric! The butterflies seemed to adore the children, playfully landing on them as if to say goodbye. It was a truly remarkable experience, fostering a love for nature and a sense of wonder that we’ll cherish for ages to come!
