⏱️📊 Our Learning on Time, Estimating and Data 📊⏱️

14th Apr 2026

Today, we used the skills we have been developing in measuring time, estimating and collecting data. We timed ourselves and our friends as we completed a range of fun tasks.

First, we came up with lots of exciting activities to try, such as rolling a six on a dice four times, bunny hopping from one end of the corridor to the other, and doing ten star jumps. Before we started, we discussed whether each activity should be measured in seconds or minutes and made an estimate of how long we thought it would take.

Next, we used stopwatches to time how long each task actually took. Once the activity was complete, we carefully recorded our results. After everyone had finished, we shared our data and talked about what we noticed. We found that some activities took only a short amount of time for everyone, while others took much longer.

Now that we have collected all of our data, we are looking forward to organising it into tables and creating graphs to help us display and understand our findings!
