Happy Mother’s Day!
For Mother's day, we had been thinking about our fantastic mums and wanted to create something special to show our appreciation. Our pupils decided to make beautiful heart-shaped trinket dishes—a thoughtful gift made with lots of love! These gorgeous trinket dishes can be used for jewellery, tealights, treats, and so much more.
We began by warming the clay in our hands, then rolling it into a smooth sphere. Next, we pressed our thumbs into the centre to form a bowl-like shape. With gentle hands, we shaped the clay into a heart and used a little water to smooth out any cracks.
After leaving the hearts to dry for two days, the children got creative with paint, decorating their dishes in their mum’s favourite colours.
