πΊοΈπͺ From Homelands to Settlements: Our Viking Maps ππ‘οΈ
In World Around Us, we have been exploring our exciting new topic all about the Vikings. We began by learning who the Vikings were, what they wore, and when they lived in history. Most recently, we have been investigating where the Vikings came from.
We explored their homelands and settlements, using maps to locate these places around the world. Along the way, we discovered that many towns and cities have changed their names over the past 1,000 years, which we found really interesting!
To finish our work, we put our mapping skills to the test by creating our very own Viking maps. We carefully labelled each country and colour-coded our maps to show Viking homelands, settlements, and places where Vikings did not travel.
Fantastic effort everyone—super work! π
