🧮 Celebrating Maths Week: 13–17 October 🎉
22nd Oct 2025
This week, we’ve been celebrating the magic of numbers during Maths Week—and what a brilliant time we’ve had!
Our focus was on exploring maths in practical, hands-on ways and discovering how it’s woven into everyday life.

We had an amazing week, with some delicious baking where we were measuring ingredients. We explored capacity using water, bottles and cups. We gathered data and created colourful charts and went on exciting number scavenger hunts. We also got creative making shape animals. Our art sessions took a mathematical twist as we explored symmetry through vibrant designs.
One of the highlights was our Mathematical Dress-Up Day, where pupils wore maths themed outfits - bringing maths to life in the most imaginative ways!
We also used real-world scenarios to understand how maths helps us make sense of the world around us.

From problem-solving to pattern-spotting, it’s been a joyful journey into the many faces of maths. The enthusiasm and curiosity shown by everyone made it a truly memorable week! Well done P 3, 4 & 5!
